Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 July 2026
The short version: VetPulse Academy is built to be private by design. Your study progress, quiz results, study time, résumé details and certificate are stored only on your own device — we don't collect them, see them, or send them anywhere.
📝 To publish this page: replace every [BRACKETED] item with your real details, and have an Australian legal professional review it. This template is a starting point, not legal advice.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how VetPulse Academy (ABN 30 310 406 539) ("we") handles personal information in connection with the VetPulse Academy website and application (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

If you have any questions, contact us at admin@vetpulseacademy.com.

2. Our privacy-first approach

The VetPulse Academy app is designed to run entirely on your device. When you use lessons, quizzes, the study tracker, the résumé builder or the certificate, that information is saved locally in your browser or device storage. It is not transmitted to us or to any server. We cannot see it, and we do not store copies of it.

You remain in control of this information at all times. You can erase it whenever you like by clearing your browser's site data for the app, or by removing the app from your device.

3. Information collected

By the app itself: none. The app does not require an account and does not send your activity to us.

By our website hosting: like almost all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information for security and reliability — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested and the date and time. This is used to operate and protect the Service and is not used to identify you personally.

If you contact us: if you email us or fill in a contact form, we will receive the information you choose to provide (such as your name, email address and message) so we can respond.

[If you add analytics — otherwise delete this paragraph]: we may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used (for example, how many people visit a page). Where analytics is used, details will be described here.

[If you sell through app stores — otherwise delete]: if you obtain the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores collect and process information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

4. Cookies and local storage

The app uses your device's local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your progress, résumé and certificate details on your device. This information stays with you. If we introduce any cookies (for example, for analytics), we will describe them here and, where required, ask for your consent.

5. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

6. Disclosure of information

We may disclose information to trusted service providers who help us operate the Service (such as our website hosting provider), and where required or authorised by law. We require our service providers to protect your information and to use it only for the services they provide to us.

7. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers (for example, website hosting) may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information within our control from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Because your study and résumé data is stored on your own device, its security also depends on how you protect your device (for example, with a passcode).

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 16 and over, or for younger users with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Your rights

Under the APPs, you have the right to request access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you. Because most information in the app is stored only on your device, you can access and change it directly within the app, or clear it entirely at any time. For any information we hold (for example, emails you have sent us), contact us at admin@vetpulseacademy.com.

11. Third-party links

Our Service may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.

13. Contact and complaints

For any privacy questions or to make a complaint, contact us at admin@vetpulseacademy.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
