Please read this first: VetPulse Academy is a study aid to support your learning. It is not a formal qualification, accreditation, or a substitute for an accredited veterinary or veterinary-nursing program, and it does not provide professional, veterinary or medical advice.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VetPulse Academy website and application (the "Service"), provided by VetPulse Academy (ABN 30 310 406 539) ("we"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Educational nature of the Service (important)

The Service is provided for general educational and revision purposes only. It is designed to help you learn and build confidence, but:

it is not a formal qualification, certification, or accreditation of any kind;
it is not a substitute for an accredited veterinary or veterinary-nursing course, or for the guidance of qualified educators and supervising veterinarians;
it does not constitute professional, veterinary, medical or clinical advice, and must not be relied upon to make clinical decisions or to treat any animal;
reference values and content are general guides only and may not reflect your specific curriculum or the most current standards.

Always follow your institution's official curriculum and the direction of your supervising professionals.

3. The certificate

Any "Certificate of Completion" generated by the Service recognises that you have completed the self-directed content within the Service. It is a study-aid certificate only. It is not a formal qualification, licence, or registration, and it does not entitle the holder to practise or to represent themselves as qualified in any field.

4. No guarantee of outcomes

While we hope the Service helps you learn, we do not guarantee any particular result, including academic performance, exam success, or employment outcomes.

5. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own study. You agree not to:

copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission;
reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source or content, except as permitted by law;
use the Service unlawfully, or in a way that harms, disrupts or misuses it.

Institutional or bulk use (for example, by a university or college) requires a separate written licence — contact us at admin@vetpulseacademy.com.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its content, text, design, and branding ("VetPulse Academy"), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not use our name, logo or content without our written permission, except as needed for your personal, permitted use of the Service.

7. Your content

Information you enter (such as résumé details or the name on your certificate) is stored on your own device and is not sent to us. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you enter and for how you use documents you create with the Service, including any résumé.

8. Payments and refunds

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. 9. Third-party services

The Service may be distributed through, or link to, third-party platforms (such as web hosts or app stores). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies, which we do not control.

10. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update, change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time. We aim to keep it running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its content. Where our liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited (at our option and to the extent permitted) to re-supplying the Service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Indemnity

You agree to use the Service responsibly and lawfully. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for any loss arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

13. Age of users

The Service is intended for users aged 16 and over, or for younger users with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
